At Infantino, we work hard to ensure the safety and the quality of all of our products.
You can be confident that our products are thoroughly tested and developed for safe, fun use for parents and their children.
The testing requirements for our industry are set and regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). In 2008 the CPSC instituted the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA) in order to tighten controls on certain materials such as lead and phthalates used in children's' products. We have our products extensively tested in accordance with CPSIA requirements and applicable regulatory standards by CPSC accredited test labs to ensure compliance.
We expect that children will put our products into their mouth and we go to great lengths to ensure compliance with all safety regulations. All of Infantino's products meet or exceed the stringent safety standards. Infantino products are free of BPA, lead and phthalates. All paint used on our toys is thoroughly tested for compliance and there are no toxic elements or heavy metals in any of the paint used on our products.
Additionally, we do perform flammability tests on certain products in our line — such as our playmats, carriers, shopping cart covers and travel beds — in accordance with the safety regulations. However, we do not use any flame retardant chemicals on any of our products.
